These Terms of Service govern your use of Red’s Private Hire and our services. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Payment Terms
1.1. Payment on Completion
All journeys must be paid for in full upon completion of the journey, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.2. Deposit Requirement
For journeys exceeding 10 miles, we reserve the right to request a deposit at the time of collection (pickup). The deposit amount will be communicated prior to journey confirmation.
2. Damage and Liability
2.1. Passenger Responsibility for Damage
The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle or other property owned by Red’s Private Hire during their journey. 2.2. Reimbursement of Damages
If such damage occurs, the customer agrees to reimburse Red’s Private Hire for any costs incurred. This may include but is not limited to repairs, cleaning, or loss of earnings due to the vehicle being unavailable for further use.
3. Corporate Accounts
3.1. Discount
Registered corporate account holders are eligible for a 10% discount on standard fares.
3.2. Business Identification
On your first journey using a corporate account, you may be required to provide valid business identification (e.g., employee ID, company card, or letterhead).
4. Senior Discount
4.1. Eligibility
A Senior Discount is available to customers aged 65 or over.
4.2. Proof of Age
Red’s Private Hire reserves the right to request proof of age (e.g., passport, driving licence, bus pass) before applying the discount.
5. Booking and Cancellations
5.1. Bookings
All bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability. We recommend advanced booking, especially for long-distance or peak-time travel.
5.2. Cancellations
Please provide as much notice as possible for cancellations. Late cancellations may be subject to a charge depending on notice given and driver dispatch status.
6. Conduct
6.1. Passenger Behaviour
Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour toward our drivers or staff will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service or removal from the vehicle.
7. Amendments to Terms
Red’s Private Hire reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be available upon request or on our official communication channels.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
